  • Macquarie University (MQ): MQ boasts the largest student exchange program in Australia. It also possesses an extensive collection of artwork and scientific and historical pieces, and is equipped with state-of-the-art training facilities to support the university’s elite sporting teams. The university enjoys a close and formal relationship with a number of corporations in a variety of fields and is the publisher of the Macquarie Dictionary (the standard reference on Australian English). Comprised of five faculties, the Macquarie University Hospital and the Macquarie Graduate School of Management (one of the highest ranked business schools in the world), MQ is consistently ranked among the top 300 universities worldwide and among the top 10 in Australia.   • University of Technology Sydney (UTS): Renowned for the mix of architectural styles across is campus, its ‘technology focus’ and strong sporting culture, UTS is commonly ranked among the top 300 universities worldwide and among the top 10 in Australia. A relatively young university, UTS had 40,700 students enrolled in 2015, is part of the Australian Technology Network of universities and enjoys a close relationship with Australian industry.
  • Western Sydney University (formerly University of Western Sydney): Rebranded in 2015, Western Sydney University’s origins in the amalgamation of several campuses has resulted in a strong sense of history and culture among each individual campus and a variety of campus locations: Bankstown (Milperra), Blacktown (Quakers Hill), Campbelltown (south-western Sydney), Hawkesbury (Hawkesbury Valley near Richmond), Parramatta (Rydalmere) and Penrith (Kingswood and Werrington North). The university is organised into nine schools and had 44,800 students enrolled in 2015. Western Sydney University is consistently ranked among the top 400 universities in the world and among the top 20 in Australia.
  • Australian Catholic University (ACU): Open to persons of all beliefs and backgrounds and consisting of seven campuses in Australia—Adelaide, Ballarat, Brisbane, Canberra, Melbourne and Sydney (North Sydney and Strathfield)—and one in Rome, ACU has rapidly expanded its student numbers and research involvement in recent years, and maintains relationships with over 190 universities worldwide, including the global network of Catholic Universities.
  • University of Notre Dame Australia (UNDA) (secondary campus): UNDA maintains a satellite campus in Sydney, which offers courses from the schools of Arts and Sciences, Business, Philosophy and Theology, Law, Medicine, Education and Nursing.
  • University of Wollongong (UOW) (secondary campuses): UOW maintains secondary campuses in the Sydney CBD (the Sydney Business School, or SBS), southern Sydney (Loftus campus) and south-western Sydney (Liverpool campus).
