This year, Capstone Editing has extended the application closing dates for four of its grants for postgraduates, Honours students and female academics.
Many universities list these grants on their scholarship pages, but some choose not to advertise external grants. For this reason, it can be a little difficult for us to get the message about these grants out there! Please do check if you are eligible and if not, please share the info with any of your friends and colleagues who might be.

Capstone Editing’s Available Scholarships and Grants
- The Capstone Editing Conference Travel Grant for Postgraduate Research Students
$3,000 for one postgrad student per year to assist in covering the costs of attending a conference in relation to their degree. Applications close on 30 July. $5,000 for one female academic per year to assist with the costs associated with a research project leading towards a publication. Applications close on 30 July.
